Data Leverage Group (DLG) offers Item Master File Cleansing and UNSPSC product categorization services to healthcare supply chain operations. In addition to Item Master services, DLG also, provides AP Vendor de-duplication and normalization services.
DLG has worked with many clients to extract their Item Master Files from their primary supply chain information system then cleanse, validate, correct and enhance each item file record utilizing DLG’s proprietary Item Cleansing knowledgebase.
DLG’s proprietary database houses over 1 Million active medical supply items consisting of items from all purchasing functional areas that include: Nursing/Med-Surg, Surgical Preference, Physician Preference, Radiology, Laboratory, Facilities and Business Products. Additionally, DLG incorporates Web Sourcing, Manufacturer/vendor catalog details available in their respective URL.

Over 3,000 Medical Device attribute templates. Taking Item Descriptions between 2 and 4 levels beyond the typical UNSPSC “Commodity” classification.
Flexible Item Description builds. Can be 30, 45, 60+ character descriptions with or without taxonomy abbreviation.
Collaborative Project Management approach. DLG assigns both a Project Manager and an Implementation Specialist to work with the client to meet and exceed the client’s needs.
